Andrew Molony

Andrew Molony has over 30 years experience in investment banking and corporate finance in Australian and international markets.

Andrew’s experience includes leadership positions at Transurban (Head of Capital Markets and M&A), Director Investment Banking at Credit Suisse and Goldman Sachs JBWere and successfully establishing a niche corporate advisory business. Andrew has led and advised on many major transactions including equity and debt financings, privatisations, demergers, strategic placements, mergers, acquisitions and divestments.

Andrew was appointed as Investment Adviser to the Fiji National Provident Fund (Fiji’s national super fund) in November 2022. Prior to that Andrew represented the largest investor on the Investment Committee of the $10b GPT Wholesale Office Fund Lend for 5 years. Andrew was also a member of the Investor Committee for the Lease Australian Prime Property Fund Commercial (APPF Commercial), the AMP Australian Diversified Property Fund (ADPF), the AMP Infrastructure Equity Fund (IEF) and the Spirit Super Investment Valuation Committee.

Molony Advisory provides ‘hands on’ advice and transaction expertise with a sole focus on delivering the best commercial outcome. Molony Advisory also works alongside management teams on major transactions where larger firms are engaged. 
I have assisted corporates, private companies and institutional investors on acquisitions, divestments, mergers, equity and debt financings and restructures.

Andrew has a MBA (Melb Uni) and a BEc (Hons) (LaTrobe Uni). He commenced his career at Arthur Andersen. Andrew is a co-owner / director of private businesses and an active volunteer in community groups.
